About the Rooms

It has been said that "the more one searches, the more one finds". This theme circulates throughout the Lodge and cabins as no two rooms, no two hallways, nor any two cabins are the same. Period prints, antique mirrors, oil paintings, lamps, and custom made furniture dominate the decor.

Careful restoration work has ensured the survival of the ambiance of the 1920's Lodge. Custom Antique Frame Restoration has completed repairs to over 400 pieces - and that number continues to grow.

All rooms that are not occupied are left open and people are encouraged to tour to their hearts' content. Below is a list that provides links to basic room information that hints at the decor and gives access to some pictures.

Balcony Room 305

Room 305 is a lakeside room with a balcony, a queen size bed and a private bath. The room features wicker furniture, hand tinted prints "Springtime" and "Into the Birch", and custom made furniture.

Room 301 is a lakeside room with a balcony,a queen size bed and a private bath but is smaller than Room 305. "Moonlight and You" sets the romance in place.

Deluxe Room 209

A delightful corner room with a queen bed and private bath. Several prints from the "Paris Etching Society-NY-USA", an elegant tri-mirror, and comfortable sitting area highlight this three windowed room.
